Love a visit to Oscars on Sunday morning! Today I tried this delicious Strawberry Napoleon. Having never tried one before, I was curious. Safe to say it was delicious. Freshly baked, fresh strawberries and the pistachio crumb on top finished it off. If you just after a coffee, Oscars' coffee is always on point too. Highly recommend a drive to Weetangera shops for a visit.

I stopped by Oscar’s Café in Weetangera and tried their veggie pide — it was absolutely lovely! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot for a relaxed meal and warm service. Highly recommend!
Pies are soooo delicious! My son, who is big on pies, described their pies as the best pies he ever had. The fresh lemonade is really good and so refreshing. It will definitely be our go to cozy yummy bakery.
Oscar's Bakery at Weetangera shops is one of those special unassuming places. The range of pre-prepared frozen meals are great but the bakery and bread stand out. I tried the tahini chorek - it's fantastic. A rich mix of pastry and tahini topped with walnuts. It's like baklava without the honey. The flavours just hit the spot with coffee.
Absolutely love Oscar’s at Weetangera! We’re so lucky to have this gem so close to home. I had a mocha and a few treats to go with it—everything was spot on. The mocha was rich and perfectly balanced. I also picked up a lasagna for dinner—great quality and very reasonably priced. Beyond the food and coffee, friendly service really stands out. The local café atmosphere is warm and welcoming—just the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
My mum and I love the traditional lemonade from here! We always buy in bulk when we come! The staff are also very friendly. We just bought some frozen croissants and lasagne to try. I'm very excited!
Weetangera is a suburb light on retail, dining and most other things aside from big blocks and the bush. But if I had to have one business within walking distance, it would have to be Oscars. High quality baked goods, including some of the best croissants in Canberra, tasty meals to reheat on weeknights, excellent coffee and friendly service... what's not to like?
Do yourself a favour and visit Oscar’s Bakery for some baklava — it’s absolutely delicious! The coffee is amazing too. Kem and the staff are warm, friendly, and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this place!
We love this shop!!! And Baklava George is full of great stories of his Mum’s bees and fresh honeycomb, traditional chocolate caramel slice (wonderful) and delicious biscuits. Great service. Old-fashioned prices were a nice surprise too. We’ll be back.
